The Back Alley is quickly becoming one of Chicago’s most talked-about indie rock bands. Since forming in 2022, the five-piece is led by Ralph Porter alongside Jaden Cone, Ben Kremer, Sal Defilippis, and Hunter Olshefke, building real momentum with a sound that is gritty, melodic, and undeniably catchy.

They have already racked up over a million streams on Spotify, been voted among Chicago’s best new bands, and taken their music on the road with acts like The Runarounds, turning packed rooms into full on singalongs.
