BIOGRAPHY

Sylo (formerly known as Sylo Nozra), a Korean-Canadian artist hailing from Toronto and currently based in Mexico City, is a rising luminary in the alternative R&B universe. His soulful melodies and deeply personal lyrics, influenced by his heritage, have earned him global recognition. His track "Ginny" has received worldwide acclaim, even catching the attention of K-Pop icons like NCT and BTS's Jungkook. His song “FOMO” also gained prominence after being featured in the hit Netflix series “On My Block.” Last year saw “Babyboo” ft.  Nonso Amadi was featured in an ad campaign for SoundCloud x Hyundai.

Often recognized for the power of his performance to feel like it’s directed to only you, in his young career Sylo has already achieved the major milestones of playing a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR and a COLORSxSTUDIOS session. Following the release of his project Dreamt that I Was, Sylo has loved, lost and learned who he is striving to become next.
