BIOGRAPHY

California band sullvn has found their stride in never staying the same for too long. From the music they make, to the lineup of world-class players in the group, sullvn is always going to follow the trail that leads to getting a crowd on their feet.

Led by Robert “Sully” Sullivan, the ever-changing group is built up of what Creative Executive Lens perfectly dubbed “a sonic melting pot of elite players.” And they aren’t the only ones who have caught onto the group’s ethos. Redondo Beach City Lifestyle said "sullvn's story is a testament to the power of reinvention" and  V13 penned “When writing music, Sullivan is not so much concerned with genre. It’s more about the feeling for him and the quality of the musicianship that goes into it.”

sullvn has had a whirlwind year with recent highlights including a newly inked record deal with Big Noise Music Group and a cover of “The Impression That I Get” by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones that sparked conversations about a new wave of ska. In 2025, the band has opened for Goldfinger and The Wailers, and played at festivals like Bourbon & Beyond, BeachLife and Fiesta Del Sol. Embracing the collaborative spirit, Sully has been writing with John Feldmann (Goldfinger), Dicky Barrett (The Mighty Mighty Bosstones), as well as Gabrial McNair and Stephen Bradley (No Doubt). All the while, sullvn has continued releasing new music that always finds them riding out the creative spark wherever it may strike.
