Radium Dolls
BIOGRAPHY
There is something unpolished about the way that Radium Dolls exist, which is all part of their chaotic charm. Since forming in Brisbane Australia in 2019, the same four members have built their reputation as a live band first: touring relentlessly, playing anywhere that would have them, and letting word of mouth do the rest. Oscillating between bravado and fragile, it is raw and honest music that is designed to be cranked loud and thrashed live.
At the center is Will Perkins, a magnetic frontman delivering distinctly Australian lyrics with a sharp, often humorous edge. Around him the band brings their own character, with guitarist Tom Perkins grinning his way through each song, and bassist Ewan Day and drummer Bryce Equinox holding it together with a sweet, understated seriousness.
Their sophomore album Wound Up (2026) debuted at #2 on the ARIA Australian Album Chart. Across their two EPs and two albums, it is evident that sitting neatly in one genre has never been their intention. Instead they’ve created a unique sound that pulls from pub rock, punk, country and something more reflective. With several sold-out tours across Australia, a debut North American run and growing international attention, Radium Dolls are a band that have earned their momentum - and are still very much in motion.
