Radium Dolls
BIOGRAPHY
Radium Dolls are fast becoming one of Australia’s most essential live rock acts, known for their explosive live energy, sharp lyricism and dynamic sound. Having carved out a distinct corner in Brisbane’s rock lineage, the four-piece’s signature songwriting blends raw storytelling and exceptional musicianship that is delivered with a swagger and sincerity that’s impossible to ignore.
Radium Dolls first emerged with their debut EP Bel-Haven (2020), quickly building a local following and supporting bands like Ruby Fields, The Grogans, Full Flower Moon Band, Civic and Floodlights. Their next EP All Doll’d Up (2023) marked a major step forward with their first headline tour, led by fan-favourite single Tractor Parts which has now surpassed one million streams.
Their debut album Legal Speed (March 2024) cemented their reputation as a powerful new force in Australian rock, earning national airplay, critical acclaim, a QLD Album of the Year nomination, and a growing cult of fans. The album tour saw the band play packed shows along the East Coast including a sell-out at the iconic The Zoo in Brisbane as well as two sold-out Melbourne shows. Follow-up singles Man Scout and Scorching Heat continued that momentum into late 2024 and 2025, each backed by headline tours across the country. The Scorching Heat tour marked their biggest run yet, selling out shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide. The single also earned finalist status in the 2025 Unsigned Only Awards, solidifying their growing international reach.
With tastemaker Derrick Gee declaring them his “favourite band of the moment” to over a million followers, Radium Dolls’ global presence continues to grow. Their upcoming sophomore album Wound Up (out January 2026), featuring the new single Unravel, sees them poised for a breakout year - with a SXSW showcase and debut U.S. tour confirmed for March. Radium Dolls are charging into their next era, redefining what modern Australian rock can be.
