Noah Kesey
BIOGRAPHY
Noah Kesey is a Burlington, Vermont-based musician whose work sits at the intersection of indie rock, shoegaze, and pop-rock — a place where melodic instinct meets distortion, and catchy melodies collide with melancholic undertow. Having made music his whole life, Kesey first released music under his own name in 2021, following years spent as a key creative collaborator for Vermont breakouts Lily Seabird and Greg Freeman, as he co-wrote, recorded, and played on Freeman's cult favorite I Looked Out and Seabird’s Byside Myself.
His 2024 EP Holding Hands Around the World, released on Philadelphia indie label Julia's War, earned a spot on Stereogum's Best Shoegaze Songs of 2024 and a glowing review from Seven Days Vermont, which called it "a glorious collection of music."
A busy presence on the regional and national live circuit, Kesey and his band have shared stages with Wishy, TAGABOW, Her New Knife, and Good Flying Birds, toured to SXSW 2025 alongside Bleary Eyed, and performed at the celebrated Otis Mountain Get Down. This weekend, they’ll embark on an East Coast tour with stops in Nashville, Brooklyn, and more.
