BIOGRAPHY

my point of you is a North Texas-based band blending alternative rock, screamo, and twee into something affectionately dubbed tweemo. The band came together in 2023 after crossing paths through local shows and shared musical obsessions, forming naturally within a tight-knit DIY scene. Originating from places like Midland and Denton, their backgrounds shaped a hunger for connection, honesty, and noise.

With influences ranging from Mineral and Everyone Asked About You to Carissa’s Wierd, the band’s sound has evolved from raw post-hardcore roots to a more intricate and emotionally rich palette. Known for their dual vocals and collaborative songwriting, they channel vulnerability, change, and personal reflection into every track.

After a year of refining their sound, they have since shared the stage with scene heroes like Camping In Alaska and Your Arms Are My Cocoon. Now, with a debut EP available everywhere, my point of you is focused on making music that feels as vital to play as it does to listen to.
