McCall

BIOGRAPHY

McCall is the solo project of LA-based singer/songwriter McCall Kimball.

After spending her teenage years using a fake ID to front bar bands around Atlanta, McCall decided it was time to make the definitive trip to LA, where after dropping out of USC she became a fixture of the city’s indie music scene. Her sound is Maggie Rogers meets The Japanese House, or as she calls it ‘sad bops with spice’. Her previous releases amassed close to 10M streams across platforms and earned placements on Spotify's Fresh Finds, interviews with Ones To Watch, a feature on NPR Music’s 'New Music Friday’ playlist, and a flattering write-up on FADER which aptly described McCall's music as the inevitable blend of “her blues club open mic circuit background with perfect pop sensibilities”.
