Emma Swift

BIOGRAPHY

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Emma Swift shares the second single from her new album, The Resurrection Game. "Nothing and Forever" is a dreamy, romantic, old-fashioned love song. It was recorded on the Isle of Wight at Chale Abbey, a 16th-century abbey that has been turned into a world-class recording studio. The song resonates with insistent, inestimable sadness, the exactitude of Swift’s devastatingly candid admissions lifted aloft by the subtle strength of her deep-blue vocals and an evocative breadth of gorgeously baroque musical flourishes. An official music video is streaming now on YouTube. The clip was shot in Malibu, California, on 16mm Kodak film; it was directed by musician and filmmaker Paige Stark.
