MOE. TO RECORD NEW STUDIO ALBUM IN FRONT OF ITS FANS

(New York, NY) -- moe. will perform two very special shows at the State Theatre in Portland, ME, Friday and Saturday June 10 and 11. These shows will be recorded by the band and featured on the upcoming studio album, due out in early 2006.

The shows will focus on the new material that has been debuted since moe.'s 2003 release "Wormwood" - which was also drawn largely from live recordings.

The approach will be an evolution of the "Wormwood" sessions in which moe. took live recordings from its 2002 summer tour into the studio to tweak, manipulate and deconstruct. This time they plan to build it from the ground up with a little less chaos, a little more wisdom and the energy provided by a few thousand moe.rons.

Both nights will be general admission, and for obvious reasons, there will be no taping or photography allowed. For recording purposes, there may be repeated material both nights.

NOTE TO EDITORS: moe.'s name is properly spelled in all lowercase characters and ending with a period: "moe."
